I live in Calgary Which is in Alberta And The Wind Is 52km And i did hear sounds and we got Snowish hail things 7 Hours earlier And It Was Kinda Dark Tht time Ya Its Nite time Now I Heard A Veryy Scary sound Although there no Thunderstrom And Stuff.. And Does any one Now what to do when a tornado comes or signs of it Or If Calgary Might Get a Tornado??

When a tornado comes your spost to go in your bath tub with a bed over u not the frame or anythibg tho or you go to the bottom floor of the building and stay there but idk about the other questions

umm there is a tOrnadoe warning going on in my area.
shOuld my family keep the windOws Open or closed ?
and is hidinq under a sink in the cabniet a good place to seek shelter.

Keeping the windows closed is best, this is an old myth from many years ago. Best place to seek shelter is in an interior room of your home such as a bathroom or hallway closet, furthest away from any exterior walls. Try to cover your head if at all possible to protect from any flying debris.

Storm chaser Bill Doms documented a brief but photogenic tornado in Pope county Minnesota on May 1, 2012. The parent mesocyclone went on to produce several other dust whirls from near Sedan, MN to north of Spring Hill, MN.

On April 3, 2012, David Horner documented this destructive tornado in Kennedale, Texas from the southbound lane of US 287 just south of I-20. This tornado eventually grew to 1/4 mile in width, traveled into nearby Arlington and caused extensive damage; it was rated EF-2. Sign up now for Webisodes at www.tvnweather.com!

On April 14, 2012, storm chasers Dave Demko and Heidi Farrar documented multiple tornadoes in northern Oklahoma, near the towns of Cherokee and Manchester, including two simultaneous tornadoes from close range (click here for more video from the violent “drillbit” tornado found in this sequence www.youtube.com — EXTREME wind velocities–likely well into the range associated with EF-5 damage–were responsible for the dramatic audible roar as the tornado moved within 100 yards of them). This same storm continued northeast into Kansas and produced several damaging tornadoes after dark, notably in south Wichita and at McConnel Air Force Base in Andover.
